ADHD, What should I do?

My child has ADHD, what should I do? First of all ADHD is not really a purse or a disorder in as a gift.  The problem  is that modern education is to educate children who fall along the mean and mode of the bell curve an average population. Individuals with ADHD do not fall in these categories, individuals with ADHD have beautiful minds. What do I mean by this, let me explain. ADHD is a syndrome of a unique brain functioning apparatus.

What is this apparatus? All brains are created differently, just like a fingerprint.  You are a masterpiece. Each child is equipped with unique gifts and abilities. The word to educate, comes from the Latin verb educe. This word means to go to a well and draw out water. This is true education, not to put in random information, but rather to dig out the gifting and ability that is within each person.

I am closely familiar with the ADHD child, since, i am an ADHD child. I did not discover that I possessed a high IQ until I joined the Army. This was a gift to me, since it was a a format . This is a factor of ADHD. When one can understand what ADHD really is, we can work with this syndrome.

With ADHD, the uniqueness if this brain functions differently than brains in that migrate around the mean of a population. In the ADHD brain, part of the brain runs faster than the other part of the brain. For instance, one individual may have the ability to do mathematical calculations in their brain quickly, but cannot catch a baseball. Other individuals may be able to grasp large concepts and correlations, but cannot set still long enough to do a cross word puzzle homework.

In the ADHD brain, one part of the brain is running at a very fast level, while the rest of brain seems slow. This causes discomfort within the mind of the child. As a result, the child becomes restless and fidgety.  In my experience, this was a very painful situation. In addition to this, individuals do not understand how ADHD medication works, since the function of the ADHD medication is counter intuitive.
